Wolfson Microelectronics Scholarship for 2009-2010 Session
The University of Edinburgh will offer two scholarships in 2009-2010 to students who plan to undertake PhD degrees in the School of Informatics or the School of Engineering and Electronics at the University of Edinburgh. The value of each award will be £15,000 per academic year and is tenable for a maximum of three years. Please note that no Wolfson Microelectronics Scholarships will be available for 2008-2009.
The scholarship may be terminated at any time when an unsatisfactory progress report is received from the School or if the scholarship holder ceases to be registered as a full-time student at the University of Edinburgh.
Eligibility
The scholarship is awarded to an MPhil/PhD student intending to study in the School of Informatics or the School of Engineering and Electronics at the University of Edinburgh. The sole criterion for the scholarships will be academic excellence; successful applicants are likely to hold or expect to achieve a UK first class Honours undergraduate degree or the overseas equivalent.
