Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemical Biology
A postdoctoral fellowship in dynamic chemical glycobiology is available from 1 April, 2008 in the group of Bioorganic Supramolecular Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. The fellowship is part of an EC-funded consortium of 13 academic and industrial research groups from seven countries throughout Europe.
Qualifications
Candidate profile:
Conditions follow EU regulations, and the eligible candidate for this particular position should be a non-Swedish national, and preferentially citizen of an EU- or EU-associated country. Within the network, training is provided in a number of related fields and exchange programs between participating groups are standard. The ideal candidate for this position is an enthusiastic scientist, with a PhD degree in chemistry or biochemistry, and with a good background in organic chemistry and chemical biology. Experience with NMR and LC-MS techniques is an advantage.
