  I am a Zambian aged 26, applying for a research degree in Molecular Biology/ immunology; currently in my final year Biochemistry specialized in molecular immunology and molecular pharmacology at Kazan state university. I did a research work on the influence of hydrogen radical on DNA hydrolyzing activity of DNase and antibodies of autoimmune diseases.   I’m a Sudanese lecturer, with a M.Sc. in Biotechnology, through my M.Sc. I studied the antimicrobial activity and peptide/protein contents of the parotid gland secretion isolated from the indigenous African toad Bufo spp., the study revealed that the secretions possess antimicrobial activity, and included peptides that correspond to this activity, this fact supports that these antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are powerful candidates as future antibiotics, and have a chance in therapeutical applications as alternative drugs
  I followed my M.Sc. with small projects to classify some toad species and establish a comparative study on the secretion and antimicrobial activity between the species identified.
  I hope to study my Ph.D. in BIOTECHNOLOGY or BIOCHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR BIOLOGY and continue investigating these partially identified components
