USA - University of California Postdoc Positions to Study Small RNA and Cancer

Two postdoctoral research positions, funded by the National Institute of Health and the Department of Defense, are immediately available to study the newly identified small RNA-mediated gene activation (RNAa) mechanism (Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A. 2006 Nov 14;103(46):17337-42) and related mechanisms such as microRNA mediated gene activation.
The successful applicants should have a Ph.D./M.D. or equivalent degree in biochemistry, molecular/cell biology or related biomedical areas, and a record of peer-reviewed research publications.
Preferred experience: transgenic mouse, transcription regulation, molecular cloning, protein expression, regulation of mRNA translation, microRNA, small animals.
