The OCBC International Undergraduate Scholarship, established in 2005, provides outstanding undergraduates from China and Indonesia with opportunities to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at the Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore.
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizens of China and Indonesia
- Excellent academic and CCA record
Application Procedure
Applicants will need to submit a recent passport-size photo (digital image) with the following specifications at the end of the application form.
- GIF format (’gif’ extension)
- File size around 60 Kbytes
- 400(Width) by 514 (Height) in pixels
International Students with International Qualifications
Candidates have to first submit the on-line application form for admission to NTU via here. After successful submission of the on-line application form for admission, you may apply for the OCBC International Undergraduate Scholarship here by keying in the application number assigned to you.
Selection for Scholarship Consideration
Shortlisted applicants would be required to attend an interview scheduled in mid July 2008 in Singapore.
The decision of the university and OCBC Bank on the selection of OCBC International Undergraduate Scholarship recipients is final.
Application Period
The same closing date for application for admission applies.
Closing date for Indonesia: 15 December 2007 and for China is 29 February 2008.
Tenure and Benefits of Award
- Tuition fees and all other approved fees and a living allowance of S$7,000 per annum
- Air passage from home country to Singapore upon award of scholarship and from Singapore to home country upon successful completion of the degree
- The scholarship is tenable for the minimum period leading to a first degree
- OCBC Group will offer internship opportunities to provide you with the opportunity to gain first-hand experience working in the Bank
- No bond is required. OCBC Group may offer you employment opportunities, based on merit
- You must not hold any other scholarship, fellowship or award without prior approval of the University and the Bank
