The Systems Analysis Department’s research programme “Safety, Reliability and Human Factors” offers a Ph.D. scholarship related to the development and adaptation of methods from research in human factors and risk analysis for application in the health care sector. A specific aspect is the development and exploitation of knowledge from adverse events. The project will be performed in close collaboration with “Dansk Institut for Medicinsk Simulering” at Herlev Hospital.
Qualifications
Applicants should have qualifications at the master’s degree level, preferably in one or more of the following subject areas: Human Factors, Risk Management, Risk Analysis, and/or Health Care. Experience with patient safety work will be considered an advantage. The Ph.D. fellow should have research potential, have an interest in the development and test of novel methods, and will be expected to possess good interpersonal skills.
Terms of employment
Terms of employment and salary will be according to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The period of employment is three years.
