Newly formed organic chemistry group of Dr. Petr Beier offers fully-funded positions to enthusiastic: PhD Students and Postdoctoral Researchers (Full time job)
We are committed to make considerable contribution in the field of organic chemistry with emphasis on synthetic fluorine chemistry.
We are focusing on the development of new methodologies, synthesis of fluorine-containing functional materials and bioactive compounds, asymmetric synthesis and biocatalysis.
PhD Studentships are available for 3+1 years. Highly motivated candidates with a degree in chemistry are eligible. Applicants are expected to have good knowledge of organic chemistry and an experience in organic synthesis.
Postdoctoral positions are available for one year with a possibility of extension. Successful candidates will be qualified to a PhD level and have an extensive experience in organic synthesis and modern analytical methods.
All positions are available starting between February and October 2007. We offer competitive salaries and opportunity to participate in innovative research projects.
