Belgium – Ghent University Master Grants for Students from Developing Countries
This programme of UGent provides postgraduate scholarships to candidates from developing countries who wish to obtain a master’s degree at Ghent University. The grants are available for all master programmes at Ghent University. They are awarded for the duration of the studies with a maximum of 2 years. In case of a two-year-programme the scholarship will only be paid for the full term if the student successfully completes the first year of the programme.
The scholarship consists of an allowance of € 850 per month plus the yearly tuition fee.

I am 31 year old man from Botswana holding a diploma and bachelors of social work, i finished my diploma in social work in 1998 and worked as a counselor in a district hospital, in 2002 i pursued my BSW at University of Botswana and graduated with a GPA of 3.5, i am currently head of social work department at a primary hospital and would like to pursue my master at Ghent focusing on social work and project management. My country is currently struggling with HIV/AIDS and doesnt have enough qualified human resources in project managent. this has current resulted in some development partners withdrawing their support due to poor implementation and reporting. I hope to make a marked improvement if i can a chance upgrate my skills through this institution. How do i apply
