  I am 43 years old female Srl Lankan. I received my B.Sc. (General) degree with 2nd class upper in 1990 and Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Statistics in 1992 from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. I was appointed to my current post in 1992 as a Assistant Statistician in the university system of Sri Lanka. From October 2006 I was transfered to the medical faculty of a university. Here I have to support for statistical analysis parts of medical researches. I enjoy my involvement in medical reearches in this way.
  It is a requirement to obtain a Postgraduate Research Degree of 2(or more) years for my position and also I need a excellent knowledge in Medical Statistics.
  Since I am a mother of 2 kids was fully devoted on works ofkids, I couldn’t continue my studies to fulfil my post requirements. Now they are grown and independent.
  It is great if I could start my studies now on which I should do.
  Please consider me for a postgraduate research degree of 2 or more years in the field of Medical Statistics.

  Application for PhD research programme

  Dear Sir,

  I wish to introduce myself as a lecturer, Department of Soil Science, of a public University of Bangladesh. I have long desire to do my higher study (PhD or MS leading PhD) on entitle of “effects and remediations of arsenic on soil fertility, fertilizer, plant nutritional aspects”. I am an agriculturist and I have completed my M. S. in Soil Science.
  A hundred of problems regarding sustainable resource management are already arisen but research in this area is very limited here in Bangladesh due to limitation off experts, economic crisis and lack of Government awareness.
  Environmental arsenic pollution is a serious and growing environmental problem, especially on the Indian subcontinent. High levels of arsenic in soil and drinking water has been reported around the Bangladesh , where around millions people are at risk of arsenic poisoning.
  So, as an agriculturist and especially as a soil scientist, a well-wisher of mankind and conscientious one I want to immerse myself in research in this sector.
  Moreover, Here in Bangladesh we do not have any option of higher studies in such type off imperative subject because of various causes. If I get a chance to the program, I might be able to contribute something locally to my nation (directly the rural people to whom I am working for and my University where I am pursuing my service) and globally to the whole world.

  I hav recently got admission n PhD. Plant sceinces .My rsearch topic is ionising radiation effct on medicinal plants.My work demand lot of sophisticated instruments to carry out my research. But i cant bcoz my institute where i m working is deprived of such facilities. Now i can go for my work outside but it costs lot ,more worse i dont hav any scholarships plz help me. and inform if u hav any fellowships there.
