Australia - Volgren PhD Scholarship - Design the Future of Public Transport

This exciting opportunity is an initiative between the Faculty of Art & Design and Institute of Transport Studies at Monash University and Volgren, Australia’s largest bus and coach manufacturing business. It will suit a top research candidate who is interested in researching public transport systems and their design.
Scholarship
- Annual tax free stipend of $25,000 for three years
- Potential for employment with Volgren during or after the period of study
Applicant
The Volgren PhD Scholarship will be awarded to a Design or Engineering graduate who has achieved first or second-class division A honours in their prior studies.
As well as applications from Australian citizens, Australian Permanent Residents and New Zealand citizens, applications will be welcomed from International candidates.
The successful student will commence this research work in 2007. Applications close 31 October 2006
