Poland – 2009 Hertie School of Governance and Ernst & Young Better Government Programme
The Hertie School of Governance cooperates with Ernst & Young and its Better Government Programme in Poland
The mission of the Ernst & Young Better Government Programme is to initiate and support activities leading to the improvement of the functioning of public institutions in Poland.
The programme focuses on three priority research areas:
- Institutions in the Health Sector
- Institutions in the Transport Sector
- Other Public Institutions
Ernst & Young invites applications for Research Grants under its Better Government Programme in Poland. The amount of grant for a research report is PLN 60 000 (approx. EUR 15 000).
The deadline for grant applications is 6 April 2009. The Selection Committee will evaluate the applications and announce the grant recipients by July 2009. Details of the application requirements are available at www.bettergovernment.pl
Ernst & Young and the Hertie School of Governance, the Professional School for Public Policy in Berlin, also looking forward to a joint Methodology Excellence Workshop, to be held in Warsaw on 4 March 2009. Professor Mark Hallerberg (Hertie School of Governance) will discuss research design and methodology for social scientists and explain how to write successful research proposals.
