Salary: GBP 24,403 – 27,466
This EPSRC-GSK funded 2 year post is available from 1st October 2008. The first year will be spent at the University of Glasgow and the second at GSK in Stevenage. You will demonstrate the efficacy of a new type of support for solution-phase synthesis of arrays. This will involve preparing and characterising supported compounds and demonstrating their efficacy in the synthesis of a range of structural motifs and libraries of compounds, including by automation. The project requires a strong synthetic organic chemistry background and will involve all the standard techniques of synthetic organic chemistry.
This post is available at either grade 6 or grade 7 depending upon qualifications and experience.
